Ideas

Under Ideas, VentionDesk collects what is not yet a project: product ideas, improvements, thoughts from conversations.

Views and filters

Ideas are shown either as a board or as cards. The filters “All”, “Open”, “In design”, “In progress” and “Completed” show the status; the search covers title, text and tags. On the board you move an idea to the next column with the arrows “Back to …” and “On to …”.

Editing an idea

A click opens “Edit idea” with the fields Idea (required), Text, Status, Potential, Priority, Project and Tags. “Delete idea” asks once more (“Really delete”).

An agent key with ideas:write creates new ideas — always with the status “Open”. It cannot read, edit or delete any, not even its own; that stays with you.

Turning an idea into a project

“Make it a project” on the tile opens the “Create project” form, prefilled with the idea’s title and text. Once created, the idea is linked to the new project. If it already belongs to a project, the project chip on the tile takes you there; on the project page, the project’s ideas are shown in their own card.

You create a new idea with “Create idea” on the page or via “+ New › Idea” (key i): status, project and tags are above the title, and the status starts as “Open”.
