Connect DigitalOcean App Platform
The deployments of your App Platform apps appear in the assigned projects.
Where to connect
In VentionDesk under Workspace › Sources › “Add source”, category Hosting, then DigitalOcean App Platform. Only the owner may connect, edit and remove.
Step by step
- Open cloud.digitalocean.com › API › Tokens and click “Generate New Token”.
- Choose the team of your apps, an expiry date and, under “Scopes”, the option “Custom Scopes” with only app › read.
- Copy the token (it is only shown once) and enter it here. An expired token makes the source report an error.
- Every five minutes, the latest deployments of each assigned app come in. Assignment happens automatically via the project’s GitHub repository; otherwise on the project page under “Deploy” › “Assign hosting”.

VentionDesk stores secret entries encrypted and never shows them again. They are only saved once the provider confirms the access; if you edit a connection and leave a secret field empty, the previous value is kept.
